Hi Dave,
the maker of the list uses an lpi of 10 or lower and you also must have
certain minimum number of races run to get onto the list (i.e. you won't get
onto the list just because you created a new ID and crashed in the first
race).
But even if the latter were not true, an lpi of 10 won't even cover all
wreckers, much less bad or unlucky drivers. Nobody who honestly tries to
race clean will have a problem getting an lpi of 10. Although I am convinced
we will see the odd unjustified complaint.
I'm basing this opinion on my own experience. I recently created a new ID
because I wanted to join Papy RC server races without hurting my main ID's
lpi too much (there's a particularly fast guy who seems to exclusively race
on Papy's fixed setup RC servers).
I got to an RC rating of 5 racing almost exclusively Papy RC servers in less
than a week if I remember correctly, and the ID has an lpi of around 50.
An lpi of 10 really shouldn't be a problem.
Apart from that, I find it perfectly justified if a server owner wants to
ensure a certain quality of the races on his server, and the ranking alone
is insufficient to fulfill that task.
