MBTR and CH Pedals/LWFF - can it work?

by Rob Adam » Wed, 07 Nov 2001 07:40:29

On a whim after seeing a documentary on TV about truck racing I ordered
Mercedes Benz Truck Racing (MBTR). (As an aside, Interact CD got it to me in
4 days from California to Canada with no customs hassles, thanks guys!).

Anyway, it runs great on my PC, but I can't seem to make it detect my
pedals. I have a LWFF but I use CH pedals instead of the original pedals.
N4, GPL, F1 2001, F1RC and others have detected this setup but not MBTR. I
have the LWFF on ID 1 and an el-cheapo joystick in ID 2, with my pedals
attached.

I have installed the 1.1.1.9 beta patch from the company site and I have
DirectX 8.0a. I don't use the LWFF profiler (not that that should matter in
this case).

Any suggestions are welcome - I have my old pedals stuffed way in back and I
don't want to keep dragging them out!

Thanks,

Rob

I've been trying to buy this game for, like, 4 months.

Who has it in the US ?

Dunno man, I'm in Canada. I ordered it from www.interactcd.com. It was
something like $32 US and arrived in 4 days. These guys are great - I've
ordered 3 games from them now and never had a problem. Gotta have a credit
card, of course.

Maybe I'll order it from them....

I need to find out if it's ok under XP and a GeForce Ti500 (21.85 drivers)
first.
