I'm downloading it now. :) BTW, the Gigex download util they are using
to send the file seems to be great: the download already survived one
lost connection. Let's hope the file is not corrupted...

I'm sure you have it by now, but if you don't goto 3dfiles.com

I agree that forcing people to use a certain service is annoying, so I
can see why you would prefer to not to use Gigex. But then, I was
really impressed with the speed and reliability of Gigex. It survived
three lost connections, one of which I forced since I had to make an
important phone call. Gigex just sat there, patiently trying to
reestablish a connection. Once I dialed up to my provider again, Gigex
automatically resumed the download. I like that. It meant a lot less
hassle and annoyance than the usual procedure.

'...whatever answer, however illogical, must be the truth...'
If you see those splash screens, then go to the menu page (the one
with the car and the guy standing next to it, hit the 'right arrow' on
your keyboard once (BTW, this confuses me - the left arrow would be
more intuitive for me) and the hood of the car will open and the word
'options' will be displayed. Hit enter, then highlight (with the arrow
keys) the word 'input' (or input device, or whatever), hit enter
again, and instead of 'keyboard', it should now say 'joystick'.
Presto.
If you have the old demo, you can get the new one from
http://Driver.gtgames.com/home.html
I would advise to also get the demo tweaking program from
http://www.3dracing.net/
It makes the demo much more fun. :)
