MOMO Force throttle problems

Renewing the earlier thread, how many have had a problem with the throttle on
the Momo Force? I have only 3/4 throttle after about a month and a half of use.
Used the Logi clean calib tweak mention in the earlier thread and it worked ...
once. Now back to 3/4 throttle. This is a reconditioned model which I now
understand to mean place the fk'ed up wheel in a new box and sell it to an
idiot for half price. If you had a problem how did you fix it?
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Sounds like a software problem to me....

There was another thread exactly like yours just recently.  I think they
ended up using dxtweek2 to adjust the travel of the pedals.  Also you might
want to try the clrcalib utility as well. Both available in the gadgets
section of the team wingman site.

I had the 1/2 throttle/brake problem with my MOMO Racing, and DXTweak2 fixed
it.  The thing that got me though was that I forgot to save the settings as
a profile the first few times around, so it would always reset.  It's a good
idea to use DXTweak regardless, because it allows you to see whether or not
your pedals really do communicate full travel.  Something's up with my pots,
and my accelerator's values come up a bit short.  DXTweak provides a fix
until the pots really start to go.

Thanks for the ideas...here is what is apparently happening. The connector from
the pedals to the wheel is VERY loose fitting. No screws to fasten the
connector. The fitting will shake loose from FF and there goes pedal calib. The
only way I found to recalibrate is to unplug the wheel...reboot and then
recalibrate in Windows then the sim. Now how to secure the connector ? Duct
tape and plastic sheeting maybe?

Does the adapter have the holes for the screws?  If so you might find an
adapter from a printer or something similar and use its thumbscrews.

unfortunately not. Guess it will be duct tape :)
