hello,

I'm having a problem with the sound in Nascar 4.
The sound in n4 is sounding not good anymore,
In my new pc is a Voyetra Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard and in all the
games is good exept in n4.
i wonder if there is anyonyone that can help me ith this problem

Hi Carlo,

if that's in WinXP, you'll have to try different drivers for the soundcard.
Although I've seen the same drivers not work well at all on one WinXP, and
work perfectly on another. If it's XP, you'll need to experiment.

What exactly is it doing?
Have you tried just direct sound in the sound options?

TB has posted recent beta drivers for XP, build 4137 or something like that.

There are also final WHQL drivers for XP.  Version 4112.

To me, N4 hasn't sounded right since I went to NT based systems, with either
creative, hercules or TB cards.

The TBSC sounds the best to me.  The Creative SBLive was horrible.

MS really changed the sound layer in XP, and I think it's going to take a
while for everyone to get it right.
