rec.autos.simulators

A friend of mine just bought a brand new Acer 166mhz computer.  After
getting nascar installed, it won't recognize his soundcard.  All the
windows sounds work, but nothing in dos will.  Any ideas?

Dont' buy namebrand machines!!!!!!  Everything in em is proprietary or OEM.
 Even if it says its a brand name product it's probably a bastard of some
kind (IE, Creative in a Gateway is not really a Creative, It's made for
gateway)
