Yes, I just got the program today. It would not recognize my Rush card as a
3dfx card.
I did a full d3d install and then copied the f1voo.exe into the directory
and I execute that file to start 3dfx version. It runs fine, at least I
have not found a problem after several hours of playing.
This program is great, although not flawless, I hope it get's the bugs
cleaned up.
Not recognizing a 3dfx card, but running the 3dfx version fine is a big
problem.
Program is very slow to load if you don't do a full install.
I really like the Ghost mode for doing hot laps. Allows you to see your
previous lap in a holographic car ahead or behind you, and you know when you
are faster or slower by relative position.
I was driving a Ferrari, set a fast lap, made it the ghost lap and switched
to a ligier. Wow, what a difference the car makes. The ligier was not as
powerful down the straight, but it maneuvered better than the Ferrari in the
chicanes. I did eventually set faster laps in the ligier than the Ferrari.
There are many nice features in this program that will keep me busy for some
time.
This is my first impression, so I will update if it changes.
