I've had the wheel for awhile, working perfect with a Turtle Beach
Montego PCI souncard gameport, but when i threw in a SBLive Platinum,
the wheel comes up as "not connected" under the game controllers icon,
my Microsoft Sidewinder 3D pro works ok, so the port is working fine, I
have version 7.0a of directx as well, should I try Directx 6.1?? would
that make a difference?

Can I ask what your system specs are?
What is the Port assignment set at under the ADVANCED tab in your Game
Controllers Icon?
Do you have the Platinum version of the card or the original SBLive?

Sorry about the third degree but Creative and Thrustmaster are no help, in
fact Thrustmaster has a warning note on their website saying "got a PCI
souncard? too bad, we've had so many problems with our products and
gameports, we've stopped making that version and moved on to USB"

thanks.

You *HAVE* to create a new custom device and check the
box for "Driving Controller". I was never able to use the
canned pre-created "Thrustmaster Formula T1/T2 ...."
devices.
