Can't get T2 to work

by Stev » Sun, 27 Dec 1998 04:00:00

I have a DELL 450MHz Pentium with trying to install the NASCAR 1999. If you
choose the Windows 95 install, the Thrustmaster T2 wheel will not calibrate.
If I install in the DOS mode it will work on one machine I put it on. On
another though I get the following error after the video:

The only difference between the two machines that I know of is the video
card. The one that it crashes on is a STB Velocity Montego Bay.

Has anyone else had trouble calibrating or getting the Thrustmaster T2
driving wheel to work with NASCAR 1999 in Windows 95 or 98?

THANKS

Can't get T2 to work

Steve, I have a Pentium 200 and can't get my T2 to work either.  Everything
calibrates but the steering.  It works OK with Nascar2.  But it needed a
patch for that.  I wonder if there is a patch needed here.  Sierra website
has nothing at all useful.  Good luck.

I would try using Thrustmaster's ProPanel to setup and calibrate your
wheel in Windows.  Also try to the two different types of input (one
will use the Windows DirectX and the other will poll the gameport
directly).  One of them should work for you.
