I am having problems with the sound on my computer. After playing any
game for a little while, the sound coming out of my spekers decides to
switch. Sounds that should be in the right speaker start coming out of
the left speaker. This is particularly annoying in GPL. This trouble
is solved by exiting GPL (or any other game that I'm playing) and
restarting the game. I have a P-II 350, 64 megs of ram, a Soundblaster
16 PnP sound card, and full installs of all my games. I have Windows 98
and DirectX 6.0 installed, also. Last week, I downloaded the new
drivers for the sound cards from Creative, but the problem did not go
away. I hope you can help because I can't usually make a lap at the
Ring without the sound going haywire.
Thanks in advance,
