 >Yes, that's the ONLY reason I bought the Rendition card.  Do

Same feelings here. To even take it one step further, I would be quick
to purchase one of the "3dfx" cards if I were to here of a port of
Nascar2 that actually was worthy of fully "showing off" this chipset
as I was so impressed with ICR2 on "rendition". I won't go as far to
say that I am totally disappointed with N2. Just a little let down.

: yeah sierra did state that there was no plans for aa so i guess everyone
: including myself who bought the card for rendition got screwed.

I thought the following was interesting.  Found it on Sierra's web page
in the Technical Support for 3D products:

There is talk about doing a Rendition make over on the game. Right
now, from the rumors I've heard, the artist that did ICR2 is being
courted to redo Nascar2. This is a rumor about a discussion so I don't
know if it will happen or not. I think it is something that the team
wants to do if it can be budgeted, I am going on rumor here though.

I talked to some producers about this and put in our $.02 though. I
let it be known that there is a demand for an overhaul like ICR2 got.
Right now I don't know if it will materialize or not, I hope so though.

As much money as Sierra stands to make from NRO, I would think that a
Rendition overhaul could be bugdeted (should have been there to start
with); but sadly I think the last statement will hold true.  I may be
pessimistic, but I'll never be disappointed!  :)

And just to add my opinion for a AA version of N2, PLEASE, PLEASE,
PLEASE!  If it has to wait for N3, well, darn!, but at least we finally
got it.  (And here's hoping N3 is Rendition Ready!!!!!)
