N3 corrupt Palette

N3 corrupt Palette

I just painted a nice looking ride for myself and when I was all done, I
loaded in the N3 color palette and I thought I would be set.  However, when
I entered the game and imported the car, I got the "corrupt palette file"
message.  I've tried loading the palette and saving it plenty of times, but
it doesn't work.  What can I do?  Also, on a side note, does anyone know of
any online leagues excepting entries? (sorry, I had to ask :))  Thanks!

Brett,

When you loaded the palette, you corrupted the little palette on the
bottom of the file. The best way is to use Paint Shop Pro 5/6 or
something where you can cut only the car panels and paste them into
another file. If you're using PSP5/6, I'll tell you how to get it
right...

there are a couple of .sel files in your n3 directory, these when used
with paintshop pro allow u to load the selection which is just the car
(after loading the pallette) which u can then paste into another car
image.  Doing this should negate your problems
