WinVROC + WinXP errors

Hello folks,

Recently bought a copy of GPL on the cheap, looking forward to doing some great online racing. I downloaded VROC, but when I open it, it gives me the following errors:

The procedure entry point RichEdit10ANSIWndProc could not be located in the dynamic link library RICHED20.dll.

It gives me this twice, before loading VROC normally, and everything is fine. Any ideas what it could be?

TIA,
=scott :-)

I had this with win2k too. You need to rename the Riched20.dll file to
_Riched20.dll or similar. I guess the NT based OS's don't need it.

hth, Malc.

This file is in your winvroc directory, btw.

That would have the same effect I'm sure, but renaming a file is just good
general practice when making a change, in case your change doesn't work.

In this case I'm pretty sure it'd be fine, but I always prefer to check
things for myself, rather than just taking something as gospel that it'll
work.

Just depends on how paranoid you are I guess! ;-)

Always best to rename it, and not delete it, always leaves you an out.
