"Problem"?
It isn't a "problem" it is a simple matter of editing the all.cal
file properly.

Think I need to replace my memory in my head. ;)

Huh... Oh shit I must be doing something wrong because Daytona
installed just fine into N3. Online and offline works just great. There
is nothing to import. You just put the files into the tracks directory
where they should go and edit the all.cal file with the following
changes:
31 12 25 0 0 DAYTONA Daytona_500 Daytona_500 200 event1.tga biglogo1.tga
32 12 99 0 0 XXXXXXXX
You have to be sure to change that last line otherwise it will get all
screwed up.

I did this and it still gives me the "Cannot Load Complete Track
Description" message. Does it only work in season mode? Please, someone
help.

Do you have a C:\Papyrus\Nascar3\Tracks\Daytona directory? That directory
should have 27 objects and be 8.11MB in size.

Legality? It was not even an issue for me. Papy claimed all the
tracks would be in N3 anyway. They knew damn well what we
would do with the Daytona track demo otherwise they would
have changed the formatting of the track.
I would suggest just having fun with the track and not worry
about that meaningless other legal bullshit.
IMHO :-)
