It'll work ... I run with the pedals from my Logitech FF wheel and a MS
Sidewinder Freestyle. You can map inputs to "auto" mode (so that rider lean
works in concert with turn/throttle) if you want to run with a wheel. We can
handle more input devices than most humans can operate.

I agree, the device input/configuration functions in AMA are very
impressive, any combination seems possible And necessary, given the
realistic nature of the driving model (I previewed an alpha version
for SGN).
Like me, I suspect you use the pedals so that you can have independent
rear and front brakes?
And how well does the freestyle work? Is it precise enough for a
motorcycle sim?

I run the pedals for throttle and front brake. I use a button on the
Freestyle for the rear brake with a 100 ms ramp up to about 30% on. This
lets me kick the rear end around when I overcook a turn.
The Freestyle is surprisingly steady down the straight. The only place I
still have some adjustment to do is complex compound turns - like at Road
Atlanta. It just takes getting used to since there's not the same reference
point for where "straight" is like on a joystick. The real nice thing is
being able to sit back and drive instead of being hunched over a joystick.
Plus the hat on the Freestyle gets mapped to the view keys automagically so
I get to look around real nice.
