your crack?  You don't see
Call it whatever you want

Although, compare the numbers of racers.....GPL has considerably fewer than
nascar, of course, so of course there are mre 'wreckers' in it - One
'Indigo' in gpl is surely worth a hundred in nascar.
And that's the truth, Ruth.

You can railride at Monza?  Whoa.  What kind of laptimes are guys
doing that way?  I've messed up Curva Grande or the first Lesmo
already and manage 1:32-ish times but I can't imagine doing 1:28's or
1:29's like that.

As far as a better solution, I think that in NR2003 you should lose
sheetmetal if you're against the wall too long.  Also, I think that in
the present system there should be an option to disable it and when it
is enabled make it less sensitive.

Bring back the NROS?  Hehe seriously you open a can of worms Andre,
because the solution is incredible complex.  There's no real answer, just
the best of the worst.  One way or another there will be faults in the
system, but imho the method we have here is not the best.

Just take a track like Darlington.  We race all around the walls, inches
from them, for a full race.  Yes, people will hit the wall, it's normal.
Even in leagues, we will.  The problem doesn't rely on the corners, but on
the straight!  Coming out of T2/T4, it's almost impossible to avoid a car
that is slowed down by the Papyrus cheat if that guy had hit the wall.
He'll be riding there, just exiting the corner, at 140mph.

Thanks Uncle! (congratulations on the 11 golds, btw), but if GPL drivers are
so intelligent, wouldn't they know that:
a: a quarter is no good to me as I'm English, as seen from my email address,
and
b: correct English is 'go AND buy a clue'?

You can tell that you're English from you're e-mail addy ???

Darn, didn't think of that, as for the grammar bit, I'll pass that on to
Bart Brown, who in Bruce Kennewell's absence has been promoted to
"annoying old git who corrects people's grammar"

I'm feeling all weird now, must be because of all this agreeing with DGF
that's happened over the past couple of weeks, that can't be healthy can
it ?

As for our Olympic Team, yeah, we're pretty proud of them over here, one
more and we equal Russia for most gold medals in one year :-), bet Janka
Elin is pleased too ? :-)

Congrats on the Bronze medal in Slalom today, I must admit I haven't
followed the progress of the British team much, so I can't congratulate
you on other good results, although I seem to have heard something about
your Curling team putting in a respectable performance ?

Me, I'm just glad it's almost over, F1 season starts next Sunday, I
think, Rallying is well under way and various other motorsports are just
about ready to kick off their season......life is good :-)

Beers and cheers

Yes, easily, you never noticed?
Railriding for beginners lesson 1 :)
You can slam the car at full speed sideways into the railing at Curva
Grande, and you can do the same at the first lesmo. The second lesmo
is not suited for this, you will lose time at the end of the railing.
Doing this you can easily be a full second faster.
Just don't do it online, especially not when I'm around, I will hunt
you down :)

Indeed, it makes no sense,  David has been agreeing with *far* too many
people these past 2-3 weeks or so.  He even started racing Stockca'hs, there
must be something evil behind that ;-)

Oh, I dunno... the wallriding "fix" still does suck, doesn't it?  As
for the other stuff, it sounds like Plowboy really should have bought
Heat.

I think the track tours are a big improvement over the printed word,
and truly helpful, even for folks who don't think they need a
refresher.

Thanks Gerald...

Yeah maybe I was rough on the movie like training films, but DW just gets on
my nerves when he is being serious...  now if he were talking about
turkey walking and stuff I would think it was funnier, but it still not
anything
that is a big BONUS to the game...  NOTE!  I havent watched em all maybe he
does?

& the rest of you that like to infer that I am just an arcade idiot, and
wall rider because I want save game and scenario editor, or save game...
Get OFF me you
illiterate morons, if the game is so realistic why is the wall riding

wall, and I do, but if I do rub the wall I want realism...  but (papy) wont
code it, they make this fake Penalty mainly because they were lazy, either
coding a true fix was a big job or thinking about why or how to let the
wall/damage be the penalty was to big a task...  So then I say, give me some
more stuff, you and they (papy) and defend it by saying  "Its a SIM" !!!
Sorry but that is a LAUGHABLE, & rediculous arguement... on the surface.

No denying the game is pretty great as it is...  but jesus, I cant point out
what I didn't like...  wow talk about Mind Numb Robots in here spouting for
Papy.

For the un-flappable like Mycol G. Main, no! you go outside you wall rider.
sheesh
