 Derek seems to have become a legend in some circles for opening his
mouth to scream at anyone that has a complaint about the game, calling
them stupid (and other unprintable things) and removing posts from his
forum when the disagree with him (reading the few interviews are
hilarious- males you feel the interviewer wants out of there so fast).

 Last year he released an updated version that he said would never be
able to be pirated and within 3 hours was cracked and ready to
download (got it for the hell of it played it for an hour or so then
toasted it)

 For some ungodly reason he has a deal with another publishing company
and has another game in the works.
Jews don't recognize Jesus.
Protestants don't recognize the Pope.
Fundamentalists don't recognize each other in *** shops.

You just made a very wise decision ;)

years.  One google peak

Jack did make a comeback to RAS and explained what happened some while ago.
Probably not worth going through it again :)

I raced with Jack in my first ever GPL league - he is damn nice chap. Last
I heard he was starting a new career and doing fine.

   Admittedly I'm outta the papyrus loop right now, but the scuttle***is
the patch will contain base for a quick Trans AM mod correct?  The closest
American series to Aussie V8's is Trans Am,  Horsepower is similar, I think  
the TA cars have a bit more Aero Downforce than the Aussies.   But then the
Supercars can be tweeked to touch 300kph at Bathurst and I don't think the
TA cars ever get up to that pace.  It would be interesting to send a
Rocketsports Jag downunder to compete...ANyhooo...
   Since Trans AM is in the patch, an Aussie Hack of that mod should be
easy.  It may not be accurate, but close enough until a full conversion is
attempted.

We most certainly intend to hack one of the new physics models and
making it as close to the AussieV8's as possible, just as we intend to
do with the NLegends mod

How close we'll get depends on how much of it we'll be able to decipher,
with or without help from Papy, I have no idea if they plan to release
this kind of info, but we're making nice progress with what we've got so
far
