Was there ever a patch or fix for the Bill Elliot game. The joystick
routines just plain sucked.

Yes there was a patch that improved it considerably.  Not sure if still
available, but its worth a call to them.  Don't know what I did with mine.

--- If you can dig it up let me (us) know.  Not that I'm real horny to
try it agin, but it may be neat to reminice a bit ;-)

it was not a patch, it was a new disc they passed out. You sent in your
old disc, and they sent you a new one.
I appear to have it (the new disc, that is).

--- what did it 'appear' to improve in your opinion?  Anything worth
trying to get?  This is really silly anyway now that NASCAR is out....
Just curious what thehy may have fixed.... any ideas?

was that the cars would not turn right on the road courses. Plus you had to
_always_ saw the steering wheel to keep on the ovals. Plus BE was
easy to beat at Daytona.

The revision makes BE harder to beat, plus the steering is a lot more
stable. I've been playing it for the last few nights since the
thread came up. Still a fun game, if a bit dated. Plus it is really
smooth and not jerky at all.
