GP3 does not support internet play. I am sorry for you. They are saying its
not supported for analog modems. So if you have cable, you can give it a
try.
I dont have this game yet, but normally one computer creates the game and
doesnt have to fill in an IP. But he has to give his IP to the person who
wants to join (the host of the game can check his IP by doing 'start, run,
command is 'winipcfg'). After you have got the IP of the host, you can go to
the game and press JOIN and fill in the IP number. Dont forget the dots.

I don't have GP3, but i remember racing F1RS thru " Heat.net ", where it
create somekind of a "fake" IPX conection that may allow you to race GP3
there , maybe.
