Is it possible to use the internet to play in 2 player mode ? I am trying to
connect to play against a friend is this possible ? If it is possible how do
you set the settings up ? Not sure which ip to put in which computer and
does it take a long time to connect. Any help would be great.

GP3 does not support internet play. I am sorry for you. They are saying its
not supported for analog modems. So if you have cable, you can give it a
try.
I dont have  this game yet, but normally one computer creates the game and
doesnt have to fill in an IP. But he has to give his IP to the person who
wants to join (the host of the game can check his IP by doing 'start, run,
command is 'winipcfg'). After you have got the IP of the host, you can go to
the game and press JOIN and fill in the IP number. Dont forget the dots.

SOme guys in a IRC channel tried all nite to get a Multiplayer internet
race going in GP3 with no luck. It appears its a LAN racing feature
only, not internet based multiplayer racing.. ANyone get it to work on
internet? if so, could you post how you did it with specifics.. thanks

Hi,

I don't have GP3, but i remember racing F1RS thru " Heat.net ",  where it
create somekind of a "fake" IPX conection that may allow you to race GP3
there , maybe.

u have to find out what each others Ip addy is then one chooses host the other
dials
but use tcp/ip
in windows hit start/run and type in winipcfg that will give u your ip addy
ipconfig for win NT or win2000
