Formula 1 97 with joystick problem

by Joh » Wed, 20 May 1998 04:00:00

I have an analogue joystick.
I tried the Formual 1 97 demo.
It appears I cannot assign any keys as I can in TOCA Touring Car
Championship. I do not want the joystick to control forward and
reverse, I want to use the keyboard keys. Psygnosis person E-Mailed
me: Formula 1 may require special installation procedures to work
properly on your particular configuration.

Now what the Hell does that mean? If TOCA got it right, why can't
Psygnosis? Maybe it is not made to work with analogue sticks any other
way because they don't care about joystick people, just steering wheel
people? I just don't get it. Can anybody explain?

John

Thanks in advance.

them well...

>Joystick ?. You should be so lucky. I bought the game and it wont run on

>should I *** up my other games (TOCA etc just for this).
