I was disappointed: all of those pictures come from other sites, or
in other words, none of them are new. Nevertheless, they're damned fine
pictures from what looks like being a damned fine game! :)

Why can't any of the sim makers get the***pit view right.  This one makes
it seem like you are looking down a toilet paper tube (it appears worse
than the average sim).  Surely everyone in the sim development business
doesn't have tunnel vision.  Paul

Looks great, but the dirt modifieds around here
don't typically get that far sideways, at least not
all the way through the turn...

The view from inside a race car is quite restrictive. More so than what we
see in N3. If you cut the top 1/4 or 1/3 off the view in N3 it would be more
realistic. So, to keep the "sim" in sims the view must be as restrictive as
the real thing.

Perhaps, but in the real thing you have the convenient option of
easily moving your eyes and head.
For that reason, I'm sort of with Paul on this one (regarding a lot of
sims, not just DTR).
Some have the look left/right keys, but those can be sort of
disorienting. I actually wouldn't mind a view from further back in the
***pit to give you better peripheral vision.
The perspective might be slightly off from the drivers seat, but the
situational awareness would be more like reality.

It'd probably be easy to add as an additional view, sort of like the
new Rally Championship demo views.
