The game is set to be released in September.

Looks like a slight upgrade to the Difference Engine used in DTR:SC.
The dirt modifieds look ok, better than the Tour Modifieds in that new
GameCube Nascar Heat 2.
The flames seem to be a bit over the top, and I am not quite sure that DIRT
Modifieds shoot giant pillars of Flame from their rear ends.... but the
slinging mud is a nice touch.
Don't like that the wheels still seem somewhat square.
Also, I know these are early shots, but it looks like they are back to using
made up tracks.
Overall these intial shots seem like a decent upgrade to a very good game.
At least the street stocks have see through windows now, but Ratbag had done
this with DTR:Holden.
I will buy this game.

When were the tracks real tracks? With maybe the exception of Knoxs and
Eldora in sprints. Most of the tracks that had "real" names were not
correct, and some weren't even close. For example Pike in game is 3/4 mile
and the real track is 3/8. Now all that said I don't see a big deal either
way myself. Everyone races the same track and a text label for it really
means nothing. IMO I liked the faked names like Nocks Hill. I'd rather they
didn't use any real names if the tracks are not going to be right. My
biggest fear is that we will have the same tracks recycled again. Like
Aztec/Gas City, Track 34/ Wayne CTY. and others. As long as the track shapes
are new I really don't care what they call them.
