I live not far from Microproses base in the UK.

I found an advert in my local paper from Microprose asking for Beta
testers for a new game.

Is this a sign that their testing GP2 ready for release?

I sincerely hope that they've already playtested it ! God forbid that
GP2 comes out with an equivalent to the ICR2 yellow flag bug.

Doesn't Geoff Crammond have all his relatives testing his games for
him ?
