GP2: Pit signs, flags + wheater change

by @FE.HANZE.N » Sat, 14 Sep 1996 04:00:00

During GP2, I saw in the manual several flags, like for oil. Are all
those flags inside GP2?
Also, can the wheater change during a GP, or during practice ?
Al last, Can pit boards be seen when driving?

Can anyone give me some answers???

No.  You will only see yellow and green flags.  I don't mention
the black flag because it is a little bit silly.  If you cut a corner you
will se a black flag and you will experience a 10 second power loss.
With a true black flag you should drive into the pits for a stop/go
penalty.

No and no.  Weather changes and more flags might be implemented
in the GP2 upgrade version (available for Christmas?)..

A real black flag means that your are disqualified !

As we know that Microprose is really fast in developping their stuff this will
be Christmas anno 2005.

Hey  !
You burnt the following into my screen :

Nothing of these !!!
You have to wait for the patch made by Crammond to enable all these features !!!

NO. A real black flag means you are to receive a "stop and go" penalty
in the pits.  If you do not respond (w/in 3 laps I think), then you
are disqualified.

Ha, you wish! NONE of these things will be in the patch. The patch does allow a dry
or wet race, but does NOT implement weather changes during a race (or in qualifying or
practise either).

As for a extra flags and pit boards, forget it. Not before the third millenium
anyway.

Where have you read that Crammond is makeing a patch.  I dont mean theses
rumours going round, I mean an official announcement. As far, as I can see,
has neither Crammond nor MPS official announced, that they will work on a
weather patch. Until now, this rumours only bring people to buy the game,
cause they think they get a patch, but there is no way, until MPS will
announce one.

Cheers Thomas

All these were supposed to be in gp2 but were dropped so u have to wait
for patch, they even have the digitised voice of the pit crew which is
in gp2 sound file but not in game eg of sound are which ive heard is
water on track, oil on track, black flag, red flag stop race so all this
sound is going to be in the game even cheers from the crowd are
there they paid for it so it will be there lets just hope its soon

Says who, Mr. "Jackie Stewart"?  You have this patch that hasn't
been written yet do you?  I'm afraid your credibility is close to
zero - pity for you the real name of the team is _Paul_ Stewart
Racing, isn't it, although if you'd used that, I suppose you could
be sued for trademark infringement.

                        - Craig ("Strobe").

P.S. Yes, I know the F1 team is putatively just "Stewart Racing",
but then why "jsracing.co.uk", hmmm?

P.P.S. You really expect people to believe that JYS has nothing
better to do than post juvenile comments on r.a.s.?

With a black flag you have to go to the pits! 10 sec. penalty!
