GP2 - 1993 Carset Finished and Ready to Go!

by Martin Urs » Thu, 28 Nov 1996 04:00:00

After a great deal of time researching and drawing, I've finished
my 1993 carset for GP2.  This is the carset for those of you who've
wanted to see the Prost/Senna duels, Michael Andretti's awful
European vacation, the color of Camel yellow, and the last decent season
for Lotus take place in GP2.
In the tradition of total confidence started by Earl Ma for his
ICR2 carsets, I can honestly say that the artwork in this carset is the
finest rendition of the '93 grid produced by anyone, anywhere, for all
time.  Certainly it's infinitely better-looking than most of the ***
custom cars available on the GP2 pages (apologies to all ***artists
:-)), let alone the unbelievably-awful-looking default carset.

If you would like a copy of the file URS93.ZIP for your driving
and viewing pleasure, or would like to put it up on your website, feel

Martin Ursua
Nigel Mansell RIP!

At this moment, the only site you can download it from is Tor
Nygren's Pole Position page at http://home.sol.no/tornygre/tor.htm.
However, you can always get the '93 set from me over e-mail.

I've tried it and I must say it's a great carset, nicely done and I
think many will enjoy it.  You should all take a look a this carset,
it's worth it (IMHO).

Anyone still wanting the '93 carset but can't get it from the web
(for whatever reason) can still e-mail me, but at a different address:

Beware of imitations and make sure that the file is URS93.ZIP,
the best '93 carset on the net and the only one endorsed by Renault.

Martin
Nigel Mansell RIP???

        Sorry, Antoine.  Couldn't resist. :-)
