using GPL with Mad Catz wheel? Dual axis?

by MDM » Tue, 06 Feb 2001 13:27:40

I just realized that I am unable to get my (cheap) Mad Catz wheel and pedals
to do dual axis for the pedals. Is there any fix for this or do I have to
get another controller? :(

    Thanks

I don't think it can do split axis.  According to Control Center's
review.  It lists "Inability to separate pedal axis's" as one of the
cons.  Too bad too, it looks like a really good wheel.

Check out the Thrustmaster T2 Upgrade Page at http://huizen.dds.nl/~jjcox

It's got instructions on splitting the axes on a Thrustmaster T2, but since
the electronics on all 'simple' steering wheels are essentially the same,
you may well be able to use it to split the axes on your MadCatz wheel.
