I am thinking of buying a Mad Catz steering wheel and I am wondering if
their are any major problems with the wheel and its reliability. What is
the technical support like.

I have can only tell you what I have heard, but the Mad Catz
apparently has a lot of problems with set up.  Get the T2, It can't be
beat.  Look at Best Buy if you have one, I got mine for $99.00.
