GP3 - Car Failures?

Has anyone had something fail on the car you were driving in GP3? The
Failures always happen to the other cars. Is there was way to raise of
the number of car failures?

I had an engine problem, but it was after doing about 20 doughnuts after I took
pole in  Hockenheim :)

I've had about 5 "transmission failures" but nothing else has gone wrong.

I had 4 wheels fall off. Although it might had something to do with that
***y annoying tire wall driving the wrong way towards me :)

Make sure under Race Options/Car Realism you check your options.
So far I've had a Transmission Failure, and just had a race at Hungary
in the rain where mid way through I had Electrical Problems.I was
driving the Jordan both times,if it matters.

I haven't really as I haven't done any races that were very long yet, i
suspect you'd need a race of a 25%-50% at least to get some car failures. Be
sure to switch car failures on though as they are off by default IIRC.

GP3 - Car Failures?

I am doing a championship in the Minardi, no aids and all failures selected.
First race lap15 I had a water leak engine smoked and cut out shortly after.
Second race lap 50 something, I had a transmission problem, lost all gears,
was starting to wonder if  it was a good idea to have all the failures
selected, or was it cause I was driving the Minardi ?, will only find out
when I do a championship in a different car I suppose. Anyway races 3 and 4
went well with no failures, thank god. Race 5 or 6 ( monte carlo anyway ) am
on lap 40 something coming through the Nouvelle Chicane ( very carefully I
might add ) when the back end steps out suddenly and I hit the wall but not
to hard, at this point I am really confused as I am sure I didn`t make a
mistake, back it up and set off in first gear and the car spins out again.
Throttle problem displayed on dash, and it is stuck wide open, full revs. I
manage to get to the pits but only after loosing a wheel due to the
difficulty of driving the car with the throttle open. They give me a  new
set of boots and send me out again, throttle fixed no other problems in
race, finished fourth. Championship at full race distance. Pretty cool but
can really suck when your half way through a race, but I guess thats racing.

Just grabbed the newly posted performance editor, and the Minardi is 3rd
most likely to breakdown.

Arrows on 10752 is the most likely - in comparison: Minardi on 9216 and
Ferrari the most unlikely on 3072. (out of 65536)

Cheers,
Rod.

According to the figures supplied by GP2Edit, I'd still say the cars are too
reliable. They quote the following reliability figures for different breakdown
numbers:

0       - 100 %
8192    - 80 %
16384   - 60 %
24576   - 40 %
32767   - 20 %

Then again, if these are correct then calculating the actual reliability of each
team and adjusting the numbers manually is an easy task.

I had a brake failure in a 3 lap quick race half way through the 2nd lap.
