Except you are all getting very e***d about one closing line
in an interview otherwise devoted to past accomplishments. The
last answer from Crammond, which loosely alluded to a possible
upcoming product, was extremely wishy-washy and non-committal.
GP3 is a non-topic for me until I see it on the shelves.

From PC Format Gold (special racing games edition) spring 1998....
"Q: What will Grand Prix 3 be doing to push the boundaries back?"
"A: After 3 years F1GP development & 3 years F1GP2 development, I am
not about to start from scratch. I will continue to add to and refine
the code used in GP2......As for the nature of improvements to the
game, you'll just have to wait and see."
Possible upcoming product? Wishy washy and non committal? which bit?
Seems to me the man is saying he *is* developing GP3, he *is* refining
the GP2 code, & he *is* improving the game, and there *will* be a GP3.
Fine.....AFAICS GP3 *is* coming, it is just a matter of *when*?

|I disagree here. GP3 is the game that wouldn't need an FIA license.
|Microprose say they've sold over 850,000 copies of GP2. That's a huge
|market to sell to, based on GC's reputation alone. Everyone has made a
|stack of cash out of GP2 (hopefully Geoff included), and the games
|market, like Hollywood, will back a winner until he fails.

Even though I have had GP2 for about 10 days, I would buy GP3.
