As long as the circuits simulated the shape/elevation of the real
circuits then they could be called 'A' through 'Z' for all I care. Same
goes for the teams and the drivers names.

Without an FIA License or at very least an endor***t it will be a very tough
sell to get into retail units when you have FIA License games competing for
the same space.
