Yes, it would be nice to be able to just report that you are loose, to
what degree, and then have the AI crew chief decide what improvements
to make.  You should still be able to override that or make specific
requests if you wanted.

I'll take heat for this, but here goes...

'Legacy' Tracks.

Talledaga of old.  No plates.  Adjustable spoilers and air-dams (with no
limits).  No pit speed limits.  Ditto for Daytona...

Guess what the #1 track online would become :)

I still haven't figured out if the Demise of the WCW is real, or just
another 'ploy' of some sort.

You gotta hand it to them.  They DO leave you wondering sometimes :)

So you say that there are NO online plate-free Dega/Daytona
servers?  Very strange...

    John DiFool

Note that you can make them just as described above by twiddling
track type to 3 and chassis type to 2 in the track.ini file, and by
setting pit speed limit to 250 or some other ridiculously high
number...

I also found a nother thing i'd like him to do... and thats to keep a better
"eye" on the field and judge who might be a "threat" to you etc...

" The 99 car behind you is catching up - better step on it or he'll be with
you in a few laps"
" At this pace - #2 will be on your bumber in 10 laps or so - so step on
it!"

Another feature I'd love to see in N5 is brakewear or brake fading...  that
way we can finally get rid of  all the "wacky" braking techinches...  as in
GPL..  (this goes for GPL2 too btw)

something crazy like that.  (They increased tire grip, also).
