CM2 & Act Labs

I am struggling to config my Act Labs wheel/shifter and performance pedal
set for Colin McRae 2. (I am using the shifter utility in order to take
advantage of this device in the game).

My problem is that in the controller page (ingame) I have the option of
choosing from either the Act Labs wheel or Performance Pedals. If I choose
the first and then configure my pedals the game seems to sieze up. If
however I choose the second, then I can not configure the wheel.

I know that my wheel/pedal/shifter combo works as I have tested it in Nascar
4 and all is well. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Can you set your Act Labs just so it's a basic sequential thing? (two
buttons.. one up, one down).

The reason for this is that Colin McRale's Ford Focus doesn't have a regular
manual gear box, it's an electronic seqential shifter thing. So, trying to
use your Act Labs shifter that has all the different spots for each gear is
less of a simulator.

Most of the other cars like the Peugeot, the Impreza actually use shift
plates on the steering wheel kinda like a F1 car.

Hope this helps...
