MGPRS2 and Diamond MX300

  I have been having trouble with RS2 since I installed a DiamondMX300 sound
card. All other games, especially newer ones sound just amazing, but RS2
sucks. I keep getting this chirping sound and video flickering, as well as
engine sounds seem to rev out to max and other cars engine have lousy sound
too. I completely removed and reinstalled RS2 and still no luck.
 Anyone else have this problem?

I too have had similiar sounds problems. I have since just set the game
for 2 speaker support. I think MGPRS2 is a lost cause for 4speaker
surround support with the vortex2 chipsets which is VERY unfortunate.
It's a truly incredible game otherwise.
