At the beginning of May, all the Divisions in our Bracket class will begin a
4 race season. If the division is not full, computer AI cars will fill in
the additional spots.
The top 3 drivers, from each Division, at the end of the short season will
advance to Top fuel. Drivers 4 and 5 will advance to Funny Car, and 6 and 7
will advance to Pro Stock.
So that means that the top fuel class will have 21 drivers, but only 16 will
Qualify for the race each week. Luckily, Burnout takes care of all the
qualifying for us. The Pro Stock and Funny Car will have 14 drivers each and
we will need to fill in those last 2 spots.... just have to figure out how.
When/If a racer drops out of the Top Fuel class, a funny car driver may take
over the spot. Of course then a pro stock driver will take over the funny
car spot, and a bracket driver will take over the pro stock spot. If a
driver moves into a higher class, they will retain their points. The first
person to move up a class, is the points leader. If he/she decides not to,
then the 2nd place car has the choice, and so on.
If needed, there can be more than 1 Top Fuel class. This depends on how many
people are signed up for the league.
