N2: Post Patch Question

I know that when applying the patch, we had to remove all the modified
files that allowed us to alter the mirror, and AI among other things.  My
is question is this:  Can we remodify those files AFTER running the patch?
I don't know if these new files will cause problems with the patched
version.


1. N2-3DFX - Second Patch; N2 crashes with this Patch on Voodoo2
