while i have done that, and raced it during a championship season, pocono and
daytona, not being in the original track list, mess up my schedule screen. The
screen during championship that has all the races, if I am currently racing on
either of those two tracks, the colors are very odd, bright green, change if i
just move the mouse over them... after i complete that particular race, and
get onto a "normal" track, the screen goes back to its regular brown
background..... I guess it's not that big a deal, I was more curious if this
occurs to anyone else...
That's because those pcx files (logo.pcx, trkshot.pcx, etc.) have
incorrect color palette. NR99 uses a slightly different palette from
N2. You can change the palette for those files, if you have programs
that allow you to do that, like Paint Shop Pro. Or you can go to
Racing Design http://racdesign.smarthosting.com/ Check out those logo
sets under Utilities. Those pics are good for NR99. Hope this helps.

you can also go to the www.theuspits.com and download the "Pits Patch" and
its fixes chassis types, calendars, palettes, etc.etc. Make sure you also
load the "other" tracks that are not included in N2/NR1999
