Matrox Millenium G200 ok with GPL ?

A friend has a Matrox G200 and wants to use it for gpl. He knows even
less than I do about it. Is anyone using it? Does it work with the
OpenGL patch? Thanks. Don

I had a G200 a while back and it did work with OpenGL in GPL, but very
poorly.  I ended up getting some V2s at the time to get decent graphics and
framerate, which might be a solution for your friend if he wants to keep the
Matrox.  BTW, I really did like the 2D on that old G200.  3D was a different
story...

Afaik, it "works"... but unfortunatly it does so very badly.
