TM Formula 1 (or T3 as some call it)

I just picked up my new TM wheel from the store. It seems pretty good (though I
would like to have metal and less plastic). The pedals are a little too
"straight-up standing" as on most systems. Any good ideas how to fix that ?

I have tried the wheel with Ubisoft F1 Racing and it was great ! This game is
going to take some time to learn, but then...

I have also tried the wheel with GP2 - no problems at all. Still great to drive
although not the same graphics as F1RS. But the sound is much better in GP2
-especially since I put in a ferrari sound instead of the original.

Also tested it with SEGA Rally and it works fine.

BUT THEN I tried it with the Grand Prix Legends demo and it doesnt work. I am
not going to buy the game if the "T3" wont work with it. It suggests that I
have Axis 0, 1 and 2 - no matter how I configure (both in-game and win95) Also
tried the pedal-setting switch but it still doesnt work. I guess I just do
something wrong or is it the demo that is too limited ? I mean the wheel have
to work with the game, doesnt it ?

Happy "simulating"

The Formula 1 is the same controller that we call the NASCAR Pro here
in the USA. You should be able to use it in either seperate of
combined mode, just make sure that you calibrate it within the gam
ebefore you attempt to set the controls. If you have the pedals set to
seperate (make sure that it is set on seperate in the TM Pro Panel and
calibrated there) axis 0 will be the steering, axis 1 will be the gas,
and axis 2 will be the brake. If you have the pedals set to combined
(again, make sure it is set to combined in the Pro Panel) it will see
two axes. Axis 0 will be the steering and axis 1 will be the gas and
brakes. Hope this helps!

Chris,

When you set up the pedals on separate axes for GPL, will they still work in
other sims (F1RS, GP2)?

It works in F1RS for sure, and I BELIEVE it works in GP2 as well
(played it a long time ago ;^)

<whine mode on>
Of course, there are still a lot of sims/games, that are NOT using
the ONE thing perfectly, that's common to ALL PCs: the
joystick port. This is something I really don't understand...

4 axis, 4 buttons, that's it! It's not like three dozens of
different soundcards, 3D cards... geez!
<whine mode off>
