I own the US version of GP Legends.
In order to install the patch I installed it anew. When I try to
run the patch file I get the message
"GPL.exe is not a valid previous version ..."
and the patching process stops.

I tried it over the new installation of GPL and over the already
patched one (both with the same result).

How can I install the patch now?

On 10 Sep 1999 07:15:24 GMT,

Uninstall GPL using control panel \ add-remove pgms.
Delete the GPL folder
Reinstall GPL from CD
Patch

It will work this way, but it is kinda drastic. Just copy the original
GPL.EXE from the CD and patch....if it doesn't work, you downloaded
the wrong patch...
