Nascar Pro wheel problem

My nascar pro wheel starts having some "play", not in the left-right
direction but rather in the front-rear. There is also some space
between the end of the metal base and the wheel (2-3 mm). That is a
little annoying but not a big problem. In the shop where I bought it I
was told that it happens on each wheel. Do you have the same problem?

Nascar Pro wheel problem

My GP1 wheel also got some front-rear play after only a week or so of use.
there was about a 1/16 " gap between the wheel and housing. I purchased a
nylon washer at an auto shop, sanded it down in thickness and inserted it
between the wheel and housing. this took most of the play out of the wheel.
