the Savage Mobile chipset. I've tried all sorts of drivers and core.ini
setting, but no luck. It crashes as soon as I leave the pits. Glide
wrappers also don't work. OGL - D3D translaters also don't work. Oh
well.... sigh.
On the other hand, the demo for NFS:PU looks fabulous on this notebook, and
fairly flies along. Toshiba packs a really nice TFT panel in their
notebooks, and the difference between 16-bit and 32-bit mode is noticeable.
It's such a nice driving feel I think I will forget about the GPL crusade
for a while. Oh, and Rally Masters also screams along on this laptop chip.
Mobile simming is a reality now. I am already thinking of the fun
possibilities of a Rally Masters LAN party.
