GPL on a laptop - update

In case anyone cares, GPL will *not* work in OpenGL mode on a laptop with
the Savage Mobile chipset.  I've tried all sorts of drivers and core.ini
setting, but no luck.  It crashes as soon as I leave the pits.  Glide
wrappers also don't work.  OGL - D3D translaters also don't work.  Oh
well.... sigh.

On the other hand, the demo for NFS:PU looks fabulous on this notebook, and
fairly flies along.  Toshiba packs a really nice TFT panel in their
notebooks, and the difference between 16-bit and 32-bit mode is noticeable.
It's such a nice driving feel I think I will forget about the GPL crusade
for a while.  Oh, and Rally Masters also screams along on this laptop chip.

Mobile simming is a reality now.  I am already thinking of the fun
possibilities of a Rally Masters LAN party.
