I would like to know what Intergraph's plans are for those of us who paid
$200+ bux for the Reactor, only to find out that within 3 weeks of its release
that the price has dropped by $50!

If you plan on sending out refunds that is fine, if not, I am going to return
my board, and go get one from Sierra or CL.

Please let this group know your intentions.

Regards,

Todd Benzer

I've written a letter to Sharon Jordan of Intergraph in regards to the
recent price cut.  I'll try and keep everyone posted of what I can find
out.

I bought it on Wednesday, and see this on Sunday.  Not a happy camper.  I
want a refund or a RMA number.  Either will do nicely, thank you.

I will return mine as well, but use the refund to start my 17" monitor
fund.

Todd, we have a plan for you and all the other people who purchased
Reactor within the past 30 days.  Intergraph changed the web site to
reflect special holiday pricing of $149 (expires 12/31/96), list price
remains at $199.  However, we have a 30-day price guarantee, so simply
call 800-692-8069 and they'll credit your charge card.  It's as easy as
that!

I am also impressed, but when I contacted Intergraph sales office in
Sweden(Sollentuna) to order a Reactor 3D board, I got the answer that
the release date for Europe is around next spring?????
Any comments about the release date for Europe, Sharon?

I called the order desk today (even before I saw your post) and the person
I spoke to was very gracious and immediately offered to credit my account.
Are you trying to give yourself a bad reputation by treating your customers
so nicely. <g>

It is refreshing to do business with a company like Intergraph. You can
count on my future business, as well as many referral sales. I've probably
sold a half-dozen cards for you already, and that doesn't count the people
who bought it based on the review and screenshots on my website. Gee, can I
get a commission?

NT drivers are in development, and apparently will be out before the
end of the year (hopefully sooner).

Awesome!  I just ordered my Reactor yesterday, and jokingly asked the
operator about how they would deal with the people who had already
bought theirs.  The above post by Sharon reaffirms my faith in
Intergraph as a whole and is just downright impressive.  This has to
have become one of the most impressive newsgroups for developer
support.

Hi Everyone, I've seen a lot of talk about the Intergraph Reactor but
very little about the Terminator 3d. I recently bought one and am
very pleased with the results! In Icr2 with full details and 20 cars
forward and 8 behind I never saw the Frame rate drop below 24fps most of
the time it was Rock Solid at 28fps. It also acheived IN SVGA mode a 15
to 20% boost in FPS for GP2. Still cant run full details yet but it
deifnately out performs my Diamond Stealth! My System is a P133 with 40mb
main memeory. The driver set is still young so I expect even better
results in the future! The card price was $129.00 So it is a good value
for the buck! I plan to add a Orchid Righteous 3d and should acheive even
better results.

Now, I agree that this sucks but...it is not different than going to the
store and buying a pair of shoes then finding that they are 20.00 less
than what you paid for them...I guess you are out of luck...

But damn that sucks.
