I`ve just upgraded from a PIII550Mhz to a AMD thunderbird 1.4Ghz...... and
my computer seems tobe very buggy... at Germany it spins the Hard drive very
much after about 3/4 laps of running..it do`es it at other track but at
Germany the frame rate chops...?

Any ideas...
I`ve a GeForce 2 GTS, 64mb ddr-ram,
S/Blaster Live,
300+megs of PC133.....

You don't say which operating system you have, but if it's windows ME, turn
off system restore.

Check if dma is enabled for your hard drive in the device manager. (Also
won't hurt on cd rom drives)
