hey guys, i finally picked up a voodoo 3 2000. but i am experiencing some problem with it.
When I go and turn all the options on, the car and the track look really funky. It looks like
it had fungis growing on top of it. What is going on?

No I amr unning stock Voodoo 3 2000 driver. Am I suppose to download something different?

I had that same problem with GPL when I got my V3 3000. The problem was
solved by installing the GPL 1.2 patch. Looks great now! I'm using the DX7
compatible driver version from the 3dfx site, and did a reinstall of DX7a
after loading.
SCGT worked okay. But i was surprise even with a p-500 with every detail on. my fps sucked at the start finish line

I fixed it by turning on "Limit texture memory to 2MB" (Display
Properties > Settings > Advanced > 3dfx Tweaks > Glide/OpenGL). I'm
getting a pretty steady 36 FPS at 1024x768 with full detail (AMD K6-2
350, 128 MB). Mind you, the demo doesn't have any other cars on the
track.
If you haven't installed the full game, yet, let me know how that
works.
