Before I downloaded the Patch CPR was pretty good...it froze on my first
warmup lap...but that was it.....now, after the patch it freezes every 2
seconds......and in the pits when I start off...My rev's go up, but I'm not
pushing the throttle....and for some odd reason I'm spinning out of control
on setups that I know are very solid....or atleast they were before the
patch.....can anyone tell me what's up???

They reduced the amount of grip that the cars have in the 1.01 patch.

From what I've read, you'll have to junk your old setups.  The modifications
to traction etc mean they are way out of whack with the patched version.  Start
from scratch with the new setups included in the patch.  And maybe get hold of
the Apex guy.  He might already have a bunch of new setups running...Good luck!

Mike, are you talking about the default set-ups in the garage menu? I've been
trying to use them as baslines for the tracks, as I did before the second
patch, but all I do now when I give it some throttle is nose into the wall,
usually on the right.

Well Ive noticed the default settings in garage too but the ones I am using
now I pick from the scroll down in the garage set up menu. It will say like
Miami sample. They have one for each track. Then test drive it a bit and go
back to garage and use race engineer then save it. I save it as My Miami
etc. Keep trying as its really worth it once you get it right. Also Im sure
some set-up artist will be posting some good set-ups soon. I have also
noticed some folks seem to have taken what I said about power slides the
wrong way I didn't mean car was unrealistic or uncontrollable quite the
opposite car is Very realistic of a 800+ horse cart race car IMHO. Aloha
and good luck with your set ups. Mike
