hi all,
i was just wondering i just recentky bought this wonderfull piece of
software calles grandprix legends. Well as everybody knows it takes some
time to become any good at it. Still after a few days i can go around
watkins and monaco reasonably well without hitting anything. I was wondering
if there are any online racing sessions where i can go race against other
newbies. I don't want to take out all thos experienced drivers. I haven't
worked on setups yet. So a online race with stock settings with other
newbies who are serious and want to race clean, i mean a misstake is human
but i hate thos guys who think they are driving bimper cars in the lunapark.
would be great.

Does anybody know where i should go?

Just go to VROC and race there. If you tell that you are a newbie, but show
that you can race clean around the track without hitting anything or anyone
it will be fine.

VROC has become a very nice place to be lately. Apart from that driver who
didn't notice that I was braking a bit too hard into Curva Grande and spun
out and called me ***.

Andre,

First, welcome to GPL online. I regret to announce to you that your
social life is now over. GPL is that much of an ***ion. =:-D

I'm from the Province of Qubec, Canada. I'm usually on GSB SpyBoy
aroung 17:00 EDT. Look for my name and you can join me anytime. We,
the so called experts (caugh caugh) need to train and encourage the ones
like yourself who admit not having much experience and want to improve
and be able to race with the faster guys. (I may have online experience,
but I'm not that fast)

Also, if you don't have them yet, setup your GPL to be able to also race
the F2's (advanced trainer) and F3's (trainer). They are a blast.

Go to vroc.net, and download gsb spyboy, this will hook you up with hundereds of
online GPLers, make sure you patch gpl to v 1.2, and prepare to spent countless
hours racing the best sim ever!!
