I recently purchased Burnout, and had a question about the next patch..
Will it include a throttle stop at all? As a competitor in NHRA Super Street, I
can tell you we DON'T set our cars up to run 10.90 flat out, as in Burnout.
Throttle stops (like them or not) are considered standard equipment on all the
Super-class cars, from Street to Comp. I think the addition would elevate the
"realism" factor (which, unfortunately is pretty marginal at the moment), of
the game. That, and letting you set the weight of the car you're working with.
Other than that, I really do enjoy the game. :) The virtual practice allowed
would sharpen up those of us out there on the track. (and some of us really
need it! ;) )

Racer, your points have already been mentioned in our group
and they will be looked at. Keep the suggestions and ideas coming as they
aren't falling on deaf ears!

Thanks for the response... :)  Now if BethSoft or one of you beta testers can
tell me where the programmers found my WAV files to include in the game! (that
was pretty neat, hearing my own car making a pass down the track <car on
two-step,then full throttle down the track>, and the Top Fuel burnout sound...
I heard parts of a couple of others I made as well...) Just curious is all...

btw... you can download those two WAV files at www.goracing.com/nhra in the
Multimedia section.. plus others I've done :)

Not sure about them using your wav files, I recall them having to get
people to volunteer their cars to be recorded. Unless, you were at the
track
the day you were. :-)

No, sorry... ( I wish, tho.... the game needs a 70 Chevelle in it <g> )
I've had the aforementioned WAV files on both the NHRA site, and for a couple
of years in AOL's own Motor Sports Library area, so I guess it could have been
from anywhere... I just think it's cool, tho ;-)
