NITRO 98 - "OH YA" Drivers Meeting!

     NITRO 98 League is not part of the SHRA and is only an experimental
racing league.

     To: NITRO 98 Drivers

     If you have not yet gone through the SHRA orientation, please do so
ASAP.

     NITRO - OhYa Class Rules

     The NITRO OhYa runs these rules below:

     RACE DAYS:        Tuesday Nights at 9 PM EST
     RACE TRACK:       Track will be annouced at Drivers Meeting, 9.05
PM EST
     RACE CONDITIONS:  Kali Server #55, Weather is EXCELLENT
     RACE RECORDS:     There will be a race records page after first
event!
     RACE ID's:        Make Sure you use your SHRA ID's(220), Mine will
be TB-NITRO-DW220.
     RACE PRE-REG:     Send Don Wilshe below an email to Preregister.
     RACE CUTOFF:      Maximum ET to run this event 5.20, Please dont
register if you can't
     RACE DRIVERS:     We will have a list of drivers that can pledge to
meet the 5.20 ET
     RACE 2 Wheel/DQ:  You must have 2 wheels on the ground and DQ's are
not counted for Speed!
     RACE TYPE:        Heads Up, some night we might use a dial in.
     RACE PASSWORD:   YES ROOM AND RACES!!!!

     Note:             This isnt about winning or losing, its about
relaxing one night a
                       week and going fast. There will be a speed
records page posted.

     I.     NITRO Drag Race settings:

            Weather - EXCELLENT

            Open to all drivers, all classes, but you must pre-register!

            Car number must be in both Kali name and "in-game" name

     II.    If you do not run the minimum CUTOFF seconds, your should
keep working
            and when you have achieved a CUTOFF apply for membership.

     The Race procedure is:

     Race Conditions for tonight will be TRACK MOROSO, Weather is
Excellent!
     Kali Server #55, Time is 9 PM EST!!  ROOM is NITRO 98!!!

     I.      THIS WILL BE A DOUBLE EVENT/DOUBLE POINTS!!!  Since this is
our
             first time Lets run this event twice.  We dont have the 32
or
             64 drivers yet so we have plenty of time.  That is a total
of
             just 4 sessions.  If we start sharp at 9.15 we will be done
by 10.

     1).     Based on some preliminary times we have grouped the fastest

             drivers, Leonard, Wilshe, Jennings and Johnson as group
leaders.
             Next week you will be grouped based on your fastest legal
times
             tonight. Each Group leader at 9.15 will call the drivers to
his
             race.

             Typical Race, (i.e., example)  TB-NITRO-DW220 - Race is
called G4.
             As Group leader G4, I would want to see each participant
signify
             you are ready with an "OK"

     2).    SEND LOGS - Group Leaders after you have completed your race
send the
            event.log to me for record keeping renamed as G1_77.log.
This file
            name means to me, Group 1 and July 7th.

     3).    NITRO 98 FINAL - The Final will be called NITRO 98 and will
have 6 racers.
            4 Winners, plus to the CONSULATIONS.

     4).    CONSULATION: Of the 12 losers we will take the 2 legal
fastest ET's
            so keep attract of your times and be ready to call them out.
We might
            expand the finals to 8 next week based on our race
experiences!

     5).    FINAL RESULTS LOG - Whoever is the leader for finals please
email to me as
            Nitro98.log.

     6).    YTD POINTS STANDINDS - I will also use Standard NHRA scoring
to give you
            a YTD points standings.

     7).    FINAL RESULTS - I will be able to post the speed and ET
records from the
            *.log Files and determine the ladder for next week.

     8).    NO SETUP COLLECTIONS - We do not collect SETUPS or TELEMTRY
FILES so be
            honorable.

     9).    PASSWORDED - Drivers the ROOM and RACE will be PASSWORDED
and you will get
            this in the your email!  If someone cant get a password dont
give it out.
            Let an NITRO 98 Staff know about this and they will handle
it.

     10).   CONFUSED - You better email me for clarifications, comments,
questions, etc.

     11).   DRIVER ACCEPTANCE - Drivers we have a CUTOFF.   This cut off
will be
            lowered.   If you cannot run at least the CUTOFF you will
have to go and
            practice and join us another day.

     12).   TIMES - SPEED's and ET's - NO DQ's will be accepted as
legal.

     Drivers I surely have left something out of this so please comment
back so i can update
     this information.  The staff tonight will be Jennings, Wilshe,
Leonard, and Miller.
     The Race Director will rotate amongst the staff and tonight the
races will be run
     by Butch "Vicious" Jennings!

     Some Additional Notes:

     I.    Now that you are in the chat room, it is very important that
you do NOT
           chat. Just listen as the NITRO staff who will be assigning
you to an Admin.
           We will be using car numbers to assign you, so pay attention.
This Admin.
           that you are assigned to will host a game, (the game name
will be the
           same as the admin.s Kali name.

     II.   If for some reason your race is interrupted by lag, booting,
or any other
           condition that we are unable to control, you will be not be
allowed to
           re-run the race unless it was a total race failure.  In any
case you
           need to check when you get back into the room.

     III.  AOL users are NOT ALLOWED IN NITRO 98, why because AOL has
never been very good
           with online gaming and you will most likely experience high
latency and may not
           even be able to see the hosted game or interfere with other
racers!

     IV.   If you have a question about racing, please type a "?" and
one of the staff members
           will get to you when they can. The race director, is usually
Don Wilshe, will not

           have time to answer questions. Do not chat in the main
window, only in private
           chat windows.

     V.    Once you have completed racing session, we ask you to do one
of 2 things.

           A.  If you didnt make the cut and want to become a spectator,
please remove your
               car number from your Kali nick-name and quietly observe.
By removing your car
               number this tells us that you will not be racing, or

           B.  Leave the chat room.
