NCR2 lap times

Someone inquired about a website for NCR2 lap times.  I don't have any
specific information to contribute however, at this time at nearly every
track except the road courses and Talladega, I am usually 1.5 seconds
slower than pole time.  But when it comes to the race, I can advance
through the field.  I am using setups developed with multi.exe 1.38M,
but I believe that the "Qualify" setup that came with NCR2 is better all
the way around.  Thalladega is tight.  Add 40 lbs of rear bias and 15-20
lbs of wedge and it loosens up enough to compete.

I can probably easily win at Michigan, Atlanta, Bristol, N. Wilkesboro,
Darlington, Pocono, Martinsville, C***te, Phoenix and Loudon.  I
struggle to keep pace at Dover, Richmond, and Rockingham.  The road
courses will take time to get use to, however, I seem to be able to race
better against the AI.  The AI don't run like they are on rails anymore.

I am using 100% opponent strength across the board and I have not
tampered with the track.txt files YET.  To give you an idea of how I am
doing against the AI in the races, I ran 14 10% length races last night
following the season that came with NCR2.  I only ran against 10
opponents.  After 14 races, I had 4 wins and 9 top 5s.  All of these
races, I started from last place except one and in that race I started
9th.  Of the 5 top 5s that I did not have a win, I finished 2nd 3
times.  So I simply ran out of time.  I would've won those races had
there been maybe 5-7 more laps.

The AI are quite competitive, however, I'd like to see them try to keep
up once you pass them.  They can be quite competitive while you are
behind them, but once you pass them they seem to disappear, especially
at Talladega.  The AI will draft with each other, but they won't draft
with me.  Maybe I stink or something, but I wish they would pull in
behind you to help push you passed several cars.  As a matter of fact,
it seems the only way the AI ever pass at all is when one goes high in
the corner and one car goes by on the inside.  Everytime you see one
pull out to pass on the back straight, they never make the pass.

I hope this helps someone.  I'll post lap times tonight.
