I can turn race times in Surfer's Paradise in the 1:33's (stop laughing) with
a half-tank, and I felt real bad when I checked Josh's ICR2 records webpage to
see that the best times are 1:27 and below. However, when I downloaded the
replay, I saw that the best time was achieved by going through the final
chicane virtually flat-out; fine on a hot lap, but ***y craziness under race
conditions. I assume that the other record times were achieved doing virtually
the same thing.
So, I was wondering what kind of lap times do the great Surfer's Paradise
drivers run on a consistent basis, lap after lap, under race conditions?
